Easy Detox Juice Recipes
Most people would agree that fresh, natural vegetable and fruit juices are healthy. Some believe that certain juices can have a detox effect on the body, cleansing the body. We, on this site, are not doctors or nutritionist. Therefore we make no assertions as to any benefits from using the recipes presented here. You should seek the advice of a medical professional for any benefits you hope to obtain from juices and make up your own mind if they have any detox effects.
Artichoke-Cilantro-Radish* 4 Jerusalem artichokes
* 2 handfuls of fresh cilantro
* 4 radishes
* 3 carrots
* 1 tablespoon of green food powder that contains chlorella
Process all ingredients, except green food powder, in a juicer. Combine juice and green food powder in a bottle with a secure lid and shake well for 10 or more seconds. Use within one hour.
Spinach Mango Smoothie
* 2 cups spinach
* 2 mangos, peeled and chopped
* 1 banana
Combine all ingredients into a blender or juicer and process into a smooth drink.
Spinach Peach Smoothie
* 2 cups spinach
* 2 peaches, seeds removed
* 1 cup orange juice
* 1/2 cup water (optional)
Combine all ingredients and process in a blender.
Hawaiian Green Smoothie
* 1 head romaine or green leafy lettuce
* 2 cups water
* 1 banana
* 1/2 pineapple, skin and core removed
Combine all ingredients and process in a blender.
Healthy Delight Smoothie
* 1 head romaine lettuce
* 3/4 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
* 1 apple, roughly chopped
* 1/4 lemon or lime
* 2 cups water
Combine all ingredients and process in a blender.
Grape Cooler Smoothie
* Large handful of red seedless grapes, stems removed
* Basket of fresh or frozen strawberries, stems removed
* 1 frozen banana, peeled
* 1/2 head romaine lettuce
Combine all ingredients in a blender, placing grapes at the bottom. Process until smooth. If difficult to blend, add a little water.
