Crab Salad Recipe


Prepare Mayonnaise dressing first as follows:
Combine 1/2 cup Mayonnaise with 2 tablespoons vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon dill weed. If too thick, add water to thin. Mix well and refrigerate.

Ingredients:
* 2 cup cooked crab meat
* 1 cup celery, diced
* French dressing, as needed
* Lettuce, as needed
* 1 hard-boiled egg

Directions:
1. Combine crab meat and diced celery in a large bowl.
2. Add enough French dressing to throughly coat crab and celery.
3. Chill for 1/2 hour.
4. Prepare salad plate with a bed of fresh lettuce.
5. Drain any liquid off the crab/celery mix and heap on lettuce on salad plate.
6. Pour mayonnaise dressing over the top, garnish with slices of hard boiled egg, and serve.
Makes one large or two small crab salads.
